Black Rose Rollers is a member-run, nonprofit roller derby league. We train, compete, and build a community on the track. No experience needed to start, and there's a place for everyone who wants in.
About the league
Real, strong, and open to anyone
Black Rose Rollers is a women's flat track roller derby league based in Hanover, Pennsylvania, and a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association, the international governing body for the sport. We're a nonprofit, run by our own members. Roller derby here is fast, full-contact, and welcoming. Our skaters range from people lacing up for the first time to seasoned competitors, and every one of them started somewhere.
We're here to grow the sport in south-central Pennsylvania and give this community a team to rally behind.

There's a spot for you
Skate
New skaters are welcome, no experience required. We'll teach you to skate, fall safely, and play. Bring yourself and we'll help with the rest.
Officiate
Every bout needs referees and non-skating officials. If you love the game and want in without the contact, officiating is your way onto the track.
Volunteer
Bouts run on volunteers: setup, scorekeeping, merch, photography and more. Lend a few hours and you're part of the crew.
